Question 1

Is the £25 deposit refundable?

Accepted Answer

Your deposit is fully refundable or transferable if you cancel with at least 48 hours' notice. Deposits are non-refundable for late cancellations or no-shows, as this time slot could not be offered to another client.

Question 2

What if I need to reschedule?

Accepted Answer

No problem — with at least 48 hours' notice, your deposit will be transferred to your new appointment date at no extra cost. Rescheduling with less notice may result in the deposit being forfeited, as per our cancellation policy above.

Question 3

How do I pay the remaining balance?

Accepted Answer

The remaining balance is paid by card or cash once your pet's groom is complete, at your appointment

Question 4

How often should my dog be groomed?

Accepted Answer

Most dogs benefit from professional dog grooming every 4–8 weeks, depending on their breed, coat type, and lifestyle. Regular grooming helps keep your dog's coat healthy, reduces shedding, and prevents matting.

Question 5

What is included in a full dog groom?

Accepted Answer

A full dog grooming appointment typically includes a bath, blow dry, brush, nail trimming, ear cleaning, hygiene trim, and a breed-specific or owner-requested haircut.

Question 6

How much does dog grooming cost?

Accepted Answer

Dog grooming prices vary depending on your dog's breed, size, coat condition, and the services required. Contact us for a personalised quote.

Question 7

Do you groom puppies?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We recommend introducing puppies to professional grooming from around 12–16 weeks old (after vaccinations) to help them become comfortable with the grooming process.

Question 8

Can you remove matted fur?

Accepted Answer

Yes, although severe matting may require clipping for your pets comfort and welfare. Regular brushing and grooming appointments help prevent mats from developing.

Question 9

How often should my cat be groomed?

Accepted Answer

Long-haired cats usually benefit from grooming every 4–8 weeks, while short-haired cats may only need occasional grooming to reduce loose hair and hairballs.

Question 10

How long does a dog grooming appointment take?

Accepted Answer

Most appointments take between 1.5 and 3 hours, depending on your dog's size, breed, coat condition, and the services required.

Question 11

What should I do before bringing my pet for grooming?

Accepted Answer

Please ensure your pet has had an opportunity to go to the toilet before their appointment and avoid feeding a large meal immediately beforehand.
